What a fab hack, wish i'd thought of it when the kiddies were a little smaller- i'd have trouble squeezing them on now.

Fantastic trick! I live in the Netherlands, and blog about cycling, yet I had never seen such a neat trick. I will try to publicize it over here!

Is it me or does anyone else think you'd have to be really careful pedalling to avoid hitting a small child w/ one's knees?

Either you'd have to pedal w/ legs spread wide, or just go really slowly or both.

I'm not sure about the knees thing that Ron brought up...but I know I would be STOKED to get my small child in front of me where I could see them vs. behind me. But it's a moot point now for me, mine are almost adults!

Love the creativity of this idea, but am REALLY impressed at the way it turned out - looks factory. Great job!

can you ask Arnold for a picture with the little kid sitting on his seat? In other words, an action shot.d

Where can I get that rear-wheel mounted kick stand?

I like it.

Leo Horishny

What a clean and well made hack. Doesn't deserve the term hack. As for the foot/child interference, since the passenger has their feet in front of them, it shouldn't be too high a Q-factor to overcome ;-)

I hope this person can profit from a side business making and selling these to other riders locally.
