Heh, I did the same with my bike. Plastic shopping basket from a dollar shop in Tokyo, secured with bungee cords: http://twitpic.com/1h93c2 and http://twitpic.com/1h938i

I hardly remove it so I zip tied the handles and a rear light seat clamp to it: http://twitpic.com/1h9335

Very nice Ksuyin. The buttons on the back are a nice touch. I would imagine swinging your leg over that basket can be a bit challenging.

Can I post your photos to Bike Hacks (as an entry). Let me know.

@elmonica: Thanks! Getting on the bike is a bit of a challenge and a step-through frame would've been good but I've perfected a knee-tuck swing of sorts. Or just kinda lean the bike on an angle if I'm wearing a skirt.

@Matt: yup sure! If you would like better photos, just let me know. ksuyin at gmail
