In a previous post we covered 21 creative ways to mount a camera on your bike, but reader Stickman sent along a variation not on a our list. He wanted to use an old phone he had on hand and over on his blog he writes:
I decided to make my own out of some easy to find materials. I used a section of PVC pipe, two carriage bolts, and 2 pipe hangers to make a camera mount. I dressed it up with a bit of PlastiDip. It’s a hack, but I’m pretty happy with the end result. The camera faces forward, and I can still get to the screen. I record in 720p, and use My Tracks to record my route for basic stats. I also recycled an old camera bag into a stem bag.
