I'll admit it, my toolbox is a mess. I try to organize it every so often, but it always ends up messy and the tool I am looking for is always the last one I find when rummaging through it. I blame my lack of square footage, I live in a condo and have no garage and no work room. I have a feeling if I visited reader Mike's work area, I might be insanely jealous. Take it away Mike . . .

So my garage has the "Bike Part Graveyard", as I'm sure many Whip Hackers out there do as well. It's fine to label the boxes with "headsets", "stems", "cables and housing" so you know what box to grab, but what about when you open things like the "Drivetrain" box and 50 cogs litter the bottom of the box?
A nice cogset holder comes with new SRAM cogsets, and I hang on to those, but what about loose cogsets and cogs? Well, the small size prescription bottles can hold cogsets just fine. The cap of the bottle keeps the bottom of the cogset from slipping off and the threaded part of the cogset screws onto the bottom of the bottle.
You could get aggressive and knock out the bottom/cut it off and REALLY stuff the threaded part into the bottom of the bottle, but I haven't found the need to do that. The thread or two of purchase in the bottom of the bottle is good enough for my needs.
