Hey Matt the green is pretty cool. At first I thought, is there a point to painting the disc brake pad? I do agree the green does add to the look.

It'd be interesting to paint the discs themselves to see how the wear patterns. But you'd probably have to wear the paint off first for safety reasons...


hmm.. my new Kona is matte grey and black, the right color would really make the bike look cool. I might have to try this.


@ Hugo & Matt I would HIGHLY suggest that you do NOT paint the area where the pads contact the rotor. You WILL contaminate the pads and you WILL compromise your braking. RL took steps to mask off this area and removed his pads prior to doing ANY paint work.
