Here's a simple hack to make your Kryptonite look better ! I used a piece of gardening hose to embellish my lock.
Simple and cheap. It looks good and protect your frame.

Cool! I did the same, but with an old bike tire which I cut open and wrapped around it like tape. Just put some real duct tape or electric tape on both extremities and that's it!

Depends on how good the bar tape looks. Personally I think the hose is a better idea as it won't retain moisture as readily as most bar tapes. The lock is steel after all.

Presumably this is done with the original vinyl-dip coating gone. It would seem to be impossible to slip the hose on otherwise.
