I attach mine to my rear rack with good old duct tape, but thats just how I do it. works sweet!

Great idea. Perhaps you should try this Sean, I don’t think duct tape will do you a lot of good in the long run. It might damage your fishing rod.

This hack is what I need to tote my fishing rod. But I might add a smaller pvc pipe to go down over the rod into the larger pvc for added stability for holding the rod.
