Bicycle Bill

Everything old is new again. We had things like this in our LBS work area back in the 1980s.

The sprocket welded into place is a nice touch, though.

I've seen stuff like this in New Belgium Brewery's tasting room in Fort Collins, CO. New Belgium is the maker of Fat Tire Ale, and there's a heavy bike theme to their business (including a free bike on an employee's first anniversary).

A great self sobriety testbed...fall off your saddle, you're cut off!

Stylish, but bike saddles are fairly bad for your sex organs (much less bad if you're sitting upright rather than hunched over in a racing- or beer-nursing-tuck). Not why recumbents were invented (that was about speed) but turned out to be another huge advantage. Hmmm... how about a bar stool made from a recumbent seat?
