There is no compulsion that each of these products would work equally. I prefer to use products from different companies rather than going for one particular brand.


This site is starting to deviate from what I love - ideas from bike riders on how to make your own bike stuff - towards advertisement and promotion of commercial products.

Thanks for the tip. As for commercial vs. homegrown ideas, I recognize that there are, and have been, sponsors on the website as long as I've viewed these pages, so having reviews of Monkey Lights or other products is part of what pays for us having our say.

I have no problem with the current levels of product placement from commercial interests.


I agree with Leo in as much as the commercial placements do not begin to predominate the site which thankfully has not been the case, at least not yet. Thank you Matt for the wonderful site and all the best for 2012!
