Readers of Bike Hacks are very into modifying or straight up making bags for bike use. To name just a few, we have posted on how kitty litter bags can be turned into a messenger bag, a duffel bag has been turned into a pannier, and a seat bag has been made from inner tubes and tires.
The latest bag hack comes from reader Tom who turned a $5 tool bag he got at a hardware store into a pannier. Visit Tom's site, I got here on my bike, to see how these items . . .
- a truck mudflap
- fiberglass tape
- Allen bolts and nylon nuts
- bungee cord
. . . and some tools, helped him go from this . . .
. . . to this.
Have you made a bag for biking? Give us a shout out.
