Surprisingly enough I have one vulgar quip I'll not post, but on a practical note, I would think BMX axle pegs would be safer to add to the rear for the
rider to rest their feet.

The rear basket looks sharp.

Brilliant idea. How does the extra weight affect bike handling? Could it handle an adult?

Leo, good idea with the pegs...

Handling is fine- Obviously its a bit heavier but there's little flex in the add-on frame so the ride of the bike is not that much more difficult, i've had it fully loaded with my shopping. I cant see any reason why you couldn't load it up with a grown up- might make it wheelie though!

As for the pegs- i have been meaning to add some but havent got around to it yet as i use it as an occasional seat, but mostly with the rack on for carrying stuff. Would definitely make it safer.

Great idea, these guys at Companion actually made it.

Do you think this would work with a trail a bike behind it, maybe the end piece in the shape of an upper case T flipped over then slide the trail a bike link on and top it with another right side up T. I'm not equipped with the tools to try this myself and unsure if the trail a bike needs the full support of the back wheel to function properly. Any knowledge or input on this would be much appreciated. By the way excellent job on your hack I wonder if a banana seat would work as well.
