The video has a fitting end to it, w/ Casey crashing into the back of a parked police car... in the bike lane.


Oh, man, I was laughing at that.

Here in Victoria, BC bike lanes are infamous for suddenly just disappearing, especially on some already busy, narrow avenues. I don't mean the lane is no longer marked -- I mean the frakkin' lane physically ends and suddenly you're about to hit a curb.

If you don't know it's coming, you're suddenly trying to merge into the car next to you.

Also, cars here are well known for going past you, then deliberately drifting into bike lanes to keep you from getting past them. (They hate it when cyclists are doing better time than they are...)

Ha! also in London ml
I found the same 'drift' of cars when I was on motorcycles.
It is just some car drivers, like you say, they hate anyone moving when they cannot.
