Our Yorkie loved to be taken on the bike, front milk crate basket. He'd go to the bike and stand up on hind legs wanting to be put in. I think if a dog is joyful about riding and they were started out in a rear basket they'd be fine. Mostly it's the human not being able to see the dog and wondering are they OK, happy or terrified?

2 out of 3 bike ridin' dogs appear to be corgis.

I have 2, one doesn't care for my trailer, but copes.
The other one tolerates the ride (motion sickness?)but has quickly learned that going for a ride means new smells and treats.
Always a crowd pleaser with the pups.
