Fire away, Matt. I've built about a dozen bamboo bikes over the past year. Check out VeloBamboo on Facebook and www.velobamboo.com

I saw a bike like that at the library last week, but could not find the owner.

I believe that is one of our (bamboo bike studio) bikes. It is an older model we switched bamboo since that but the style and bamboo is ours. Matt were are you located? Check out or website www.bamboobikestudio. com and email us with any questions or comments. We would love to have you build with us

We've build a number of bamboo bikes, here are a couple on our flickr page if anyone wants to take a look. Our profile name is Validride. http://www.flickr.com/photos/64037791@N03/
