Bikes sometimes need to be transported by other vehicles and many companies create car specific racks. Yakima is one company that is known for car mounted bike racks, however Bike Hacks reader Lee, who blogs over at Normal Guy Triathlete, spotted a unique use of a Yakima rack and sent along this text and link to a picture on his blog -
Not my hack but it made me do a double-take. I found this the other day at the Marymoor Velodrome in Redmond, WA: a Yakima bike rack attached to the back of a Suzuki motorcyle. Very cool.
This is a cool concept, but I wonder if the police would agree. As much as I love bikes, I have actually never ridden a motorcycle in my life. Looking at this immediately makes me think about handling issues. I could be totally wrong and motorcycle experts feel free to correct me in comments.
