In a big town, "someone" steel the rear wheel too.
Only frames are protected....
Don't do that if you like your bike!

Tim

I think I should clarify. We all know this isn't how you *should* lock your bike. It's a way to help people open up their way of thinking - there's more than one way to use the lock, just put it in your bag of tricks.

Is it better than not locking one of the bikes at all? Yes.

@ Nicolas

I was going to jump on you for being wrong here, but it turns out that you're right and that the video itself is screwed up.
(BTW "steel" is the metal, STEAL is to take something without permission or authorization)

This video is a prime example of why mini locks suck, with my full size lock I could have secured both bikes using the Sheldon Brown method

On a side note: I also carry a cable lock for my front wheel so those would covered too.

Nicolas

@Tim advices have to be pertinent.
there are several ways to use a lock, but there is only one way to protect all your bike.
Is it something that will help people to keep their bike ? No

Travis Von Potter

this Video would have made ten times more sense had they went through the chainstay/seatstay of both bikes, not the front fork.

Adam Jenkins

@raiyn I find the increased security of the mini more than worth the minor amount of hassle it causes.

Believe: Tomorrow will be better!
