I am a peace oriented guy, but I have to admit that I love military oriented fashion and style. I don't know if this puts me into the category of hypocrite or what, but I am sucker for camouflage patterns and anything that is "Army" green. Reader Mark recently came across a military themed bike and sent us the following text and pictures.

Here in Tucson, like many places, we have a weekly community bike ride. Anyway, I rode past a yard sale and saw this hacked together, army green-colored, sidecar bike with an old ammo case as part of the sidecar.
Had to stop, of course, for some pictures, noticing that the ammo case had been cut out to form a fender/body panel for the sidecar. Only took a minute, but at the same time, the maker had seen it, too, and stopped for a last pic.
Dillon, the maker, said that he made the bike for the Tuesday-night bike ride a couple of years ago. Good times. Mark in Tucson.
Thanks Mark!

I've always liked the idea of a sidecar, but I've always wondered if it would support the weight of a full grown person on it and just how much that would effect the handling of the bike.

Seems like a waste of a good ammo box.
