Some of you might remember a post from the past that focused on reader Toby opening his own bike shop. It appears Toby has a creative side as demonstrated by a recent email to us. All text and pictures are credited to Toby.
I just wanted to show some of my handiwork here at Community Bicycle Shop during the cold weather down time. I made a simple push cart out of a damaged frame and some used 26 inch wheels. Box is 3 foot long, 2 feet wide, with 15 inch sides. Box is made from 3/4 inch ply wood with a 2x4 frame.
It also has a removable tailgate for dumping of contents. Has front brake still on it to help slow it down on hills and a velcro strap to use brake like a parking brake. I use it for working around my yard. Could be used for alot of things though like, mobile vending buisness, grocery getter, yard and garden work, etc.. Could also easily be made into trailer to pull behind bicycle.
