Walking through a fish market in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, my friend and I first noticed a shower of sparks off to our left. Closer (but not too close) inspection showed this man sharpening a machete on a grindstone rigged to the back tire of this seriously rusted piece. He sat and pedaled backwards, taking a couple hundred shillings from each of his knife-wielding customers. You can see the pink string connecting the tire to the grindstone if you look really hard.
And I included another shot of a guy we saw across the street from the fish market. Bike laden with coconuts. Just a cool picture.
