I know they are thousands here.

I'd love to vacation there and ship one back to myself in the states.

Ron: They are pretty cheap here, you could get one for under $300 SGD, probably less if you look around in the heartlands. :)

you should (if you have not already) check out this book called CHASING RICKSHAWS-Tony Wheeler and Richard I'Anson.

they just follow about of rickshaw and pedicab people and take photos and discuss the history of them and what not. it's a pretty rad book.
