Poseur grips? Dude, if you want flat bars, get some flat bars. If you really want to rock track bars, you only tape the drops anyway.

ya, "dude" - cause personalizing a bike with whatever you happen to have or afford is un-cool. whatever. it's a hack, and i'm sure it takes the sting out of a commuter ride through new york.

I've seen quite a lot of generic mass-market "old '70's ten speeds" rockin' the bare naked drop bars lately in my area.

When you absolutely have to rock the track drop bars but there you can't actually use the drops most of the time riding in an urban location; the hipster grips. "ouch, my hands...I guess I'll stick some Oury grips here."
