Cool, I spotted John Deere Forestry are currently at number 8 in this summer's cycling competition in Finland.

That John Deere bike reminds me of a bike I saw someone bring in for service at my LBS about a year ago. It was a similar "collabo" with Arctic Cat snowmobiles. Looked a lot like the one pictured here but it was a pretty ice blue instead of red.

this is not important but it is bugging the hell out of me: where is the mixte/fixie? i see two other bikes but they are not mixtes. is it truly just not visible at all? now i'm curious, dammit. :)

The JD bikes originally came with 3-speed style swept touring bars and black grips with Deere logos molded into the ends.

Like a lot of companies, Winchester, Iver Johnson and many more, John Deere had bikes manufactured to be sold under their name. John Deere sold their bikes from 1894-1900 and again in 1972-1976.

I find the older JD bikes ('72-'76 era) from time to time on craigslist. Typically $40-$75 in working condition. What part of the country are you in ryan?
